Weight Loss or Fitness Related (The Gals)
- 1 Fit Mama: This is the blog of my in-real-life (IRL) friend Karrah. She happened to bring me good luck at a casino one time, but that’s only 1 of the reasons she’s great! Follow her journey to become a fit mama.
- Beth’s Journey: Beth has lost 90 pounds through Weight Watchers and has just transitioned to maintenance. She is fabulous!
- Big Life, Little Blog: Emily has lost 70 pounds and counting, and is the person who showed me it was possible to complete a half-marathon. So happy to have her as an “in real life” friend.

- Girl, Get Strong!: GGS is an awesome site that is always chock-full-o-content whether it’s advice, reviews or success stories. They also have fantastic giveaways, and are super nice to boot. Check them out.
- HangryHippo: Where hunger, anger, media consumption, and satire meet for a snack! Along with daily musings on the absolutely astounding amount of focus and information about weight bombarding us constantly, this blog also includes features near and dear to the heart and stomach.
- Infinite Life Fitness: Stephanie is a long-time athlete and smart cookie with a B.S. of Exercise Science and B.A. of Biology degree (also a minor in Health Sciences and Business Administration) Stephanie strives to motivate and encourage others to make beneficial lifestyle changes to help improve their overall health and quality of life.
- Inhabit the Beauty: This is the health/weight loss blog of local Twitter friend Lydia. This blog is a space for her to share the ups and downs of her quest for a healthier life. For Lydia, weight loss is a key component of a healthier life.
- Losing Half My Weight: Jayme lives in Northern Ireland and is on a journey to lose half her body weight. Follow her journey and encourage her!
- MizFit Online: MizFit rocks my socks. Really. She is one half of the Two Fit Chicks and a Microphone podcast (other half is the amazing @Shauna), and serves up wonderful words of wisdom. She’s fit-spiration at its best.
- questions for dessert: Not only is Krissie a great, inspirational blogger who is kicking ass on her journey, she is also local to me and someone I am proud to consider a friend. She’s one of the first blogs I visit every time I open my feed reader.
- Changes Next Exit: This is the blog of Danielle, a 27 year old mom who has lost 66 pounds to hit her goal – yay!
- See Millie Tri: Having completed her first two Sprint Triathlons in 2010, Millie continue’s to strive towards a healthier lifestyle and continued training for the 2011 Triathlon Season. She is super nice and very supportive!
- The Journey of Stace the Ace: Per Stacy: “I’m 23, I’ve been overweight since I was a child and I’m at the end of my rope. Time to start climbing back up that mountain… and boy, is it one hell of a mountain.” Cheer her on!

- Learn Fitness: Sean is a awesome weight loss blogger who has lost !!200!! pounds. Want some inspiration? Look no further.
- My Awkward Existence: Chris is a No.Cal guy who offers a rare glimpse into the male struggles of losing weight. Venus or Mars, we all struggle with the same things. Be sure to follow his journey.
- No More Bacon: Not only is Ryan kick ass at weight loss, he’s also a very smart guy who knows lots about bloggy-ness. Oh, and he wears awesome sweatbands.
- Sweating Until Happy: This is the blog of Alan, another lifelong friend met at FitBloggin’. He’s on a mission to regain his health and happiness. He’s good peeps, read his blog.
- TooBIG: This is Jess’ blog. He rocks. I call him my brother from another mother. I met him at FitBloggin’ and he’s amazing. Follow his journey – he’s going places.
- Who Ate My Blog: Stephen is a young man who once weighed 632 pounds. Follow this Alabama guy’s journey as he works towards losing weight.

- The Curvy Fashionista: If you want the top blogger on plus size fashion and spot-on trends, this is your spot! Her motto is to Keep it Curvy.Confident.Chic. (love it!)
- Fatshion Chic: Friend and owner/publisher of SKORCH Magazine Jessica Kane shows off her fly style on her blog.
- Madison Plus: The premiere fashion website for the modern plus size woman. Created by Aimee Cheshire and Erica Young, fashion professionals, who were frustrated with the lack of excitement and choice in the plus market. In 2008, Aimee and Erica, who are based in New York City, started brainstorming what is now MadisonPlus.com. They have an awesome blog and have their fingers on the pulse of plus fashion.
- StyleIT: Where the fashion nerd meets the pop culture obsessed. Style IT has revamped itself around content the author can’t live without. Each post is organically written, with passion, enthusiasm and the knowledge that the author has a personal experience relating to each subject. If she doesn’t like it, she won’t write about it.
- SKORCH Magazine: I’m a blogger and columnist for SKORCH, so of course I love it! SKORCH is a magazine for trendy and fashionable women sizes 12+ who crave a magazine that looks and feels like every other fashion magazine, but also offers fashion commentary and advice for a plus-size woman. SKORCH is for plus-size women who want trendy plus-size fashion, beauty tips, celeb style in plus-size, and in-depth interviews.

- Ms. Jamerica: This is another of Niki’s blogs (see Living Fearlessly). Ms. Jamerica is her alter ego and she talks about pop culture, headline news, and other topics here.
- One Nerve Left: Lizz has been perfecting the Art of Imperfection (<- her description, not mine!) for about a decade now. Her unwitting subjects include 3 kids, a husband and 2 dogs. Experiments are known as child-rearing, marriage, housekeeping, organizing and culinary arts.
