101 in 1001

Last updated 10.17.11

On 5.25.10 I made a 101 in 1001 list. Basically, it’s a list of 101 things I want to accomplish in 1001 days. Click here for the original post. Of the 101 list items, a whopping 53 had to relate to my weight, either directly or indirectly. By indirectly, I mean that they are things I either couldn’t do because of my weight, or wouldn’t do because of the self consciousness my weight creates for me.

I would love if you would join me on my journey to crossing these items off my list. Contact me here to let me know if you can help me cross any of these items off. Just looking for friends to take the journey with me!

I really like your list! I started the 101 in 1001 challenge at the beginning of the year and I'm really enjoying it so far. It's really made me focus on what I what's important to me and has been a great way to motivate myself. Good luck with all of your goals!

and doesn’t your Yoga & spin class count towards “Go to a Yoga Class”

      • Malisa

0-0 wait so spin class and yoga is the same thing hmm didnt know that

        • http://skinnyemmie.com Skinny Emmie

No, it’s not the same thing. I take a spin + Yoga class at my gym, which is 40 minutes of spinning, and then 20 minutes of yoga. nicknamed “spoga”!

You have a great list and have made so much progress already! I made a list back in August and I was thinking this morning I needed to look at it and see if there was anything else I could cross off. Good job!

  • Adrienne

you’re getting so close to a lot of these! how exciting!!

Ohhh definitely getting a massage should be an easy one to knock off your list. Being a big girl myself, I try to get one in every month just to remind myself there are things I can do just for me that I enjoy immensely. Make it a whole spa day, pedi mani facial and massage. You will be amazed at how amazing you feel when you leave

  • Malisa

<.< now u made me wanna make my own xD 0_0 hmm gotta start thinking *-* thank u emmie <3

  • Skinny Vinnie

    Emmie,
This is a great list! I love the idea behind this list too. We get caught up in life that we miss out on the small things that make life awesome. Have you seen this video on Ted.com of Matt Cutts talking about his 30-day challenges (http://www.ted.com/talks/matt_cutts_try_something_new_for_30_days.html)?

Best of luck as you continue to work on your list.

  • iBirgitta

Hi Emmie, didn’t you recently fly without a seat belt extender….? Time to update your list!!

  • Giggle mum
