Turquoise Home

July 24, 2012

I’ve been looking into making some changes in my living room, adding some more color. The area rug that I have in my living room is getting a little threadbare between my vacuum and my dog who used to paw at it.

Existing living room colors:

I went through the awesomeness that is One Kings Lane today and picked out some things I would like to change up my living room. I think I’m going through a turquoise phase right now.

1. Ikat 20×20 Pillow, Turquoise $75
2. Manhattan Pillow, Aqua/Lavender – $55-69
3. Pom-Pom Throw, Peacock Blue – $39
4. Serena & Lily Charing Cross Rug, Marine – $299-839

What are some of your favorite colors for the home? Is anyone as addicted at looking at One Kings Lane as I am?

I love the patterns and color! Gorgeous!

Great living room! Am in LOOOOVE with your sofa. Really like the colors you chose though pillow number two has an odd bit of a Southwest feel to the pattern versus the more “estate” look of the other one.

As for colors I love in the home, my previous house (lost during the recession) had cream and dark red in the living room, browns in the kitchen, and black/white/sage green in the bedroom.

Never heard of One Kings Lane. Another new and wonderful resource you’ve introduced me to.

I’m in love with teal / turquoise lately! We just painted a wall in our livingroom a deep version, and have fallen in love. I say go for it. It’s super calming, yet bold! :)

I love those new colors! I am also a turquoise (and burnt orange) addict. :)

Try to use this elegant color combinations like black and gray, black and silver, light blue and gray, emerald and white, gold and white, orange and gray, lavender and white, tan and black.
