May Wrap-Up

May 31, 2012

Ack. Seriously can’t believe that Friday is going to be JUNE. Where has the year gone? Not sure about you, but I tend to panic mid-year to catch up on doing things that I said I would do since January! Procrastination is an art I’ve mastered, unfortunately.

That being said, in looking back, May seems to have brought some good mental growth that will help me as I continue to push forward and re-introduce exercise once released from physical therapy. So close, I can taste it!

Some favorite posts from May:

May also brought t-shirts! Have you ordered yours yet?

I want to hear: What’s 1 thing you liked about May, and what’s 1 thing you look forward to in June?

One thing I liked about May was cutting off 15 inches of my hair! It was the last bit of the “old” me to go and it’s so liberating.
As for June, I’m looking forward to running in my first 5K!

I got into the 150′s which I have never experienced as an adult!!

In June, I am excited for my first half marathon!!

In May, I finally reached my goal of drinking 8 glasses of water. What made the difference? I drink a glass of water first thing in the morning. This keeps me wanting more and more water throughout the day. The spa water tips you wrote helped too, thanks! In June I look forward to joining a Zumba class for the first time.

The one thing I liked about May is that we finished power washing and staining the deck AND we started to add to our new outdoor oasis with bistro set, chaise, flowers, solar power lights and the list goes on (I look forward to working on my back deck too once it stops raining lol). So excited! One thing I look forward to in June is my Better Healthy Living Challenge. I have had a rough few months with some family stuff and I’m ready to focus on me again! Must learn more about Instagram (I’m @ angien)

In May I liked the new experiences I gained at my job. It was crazy busy but very valuable. In June I am looking forward to looking for a new house!
