Workout with Positive Affirmations (Guest Video)

Emmie Note: I get lots of emails from random companies and “gurus” who know nothing about my struggles or journey and want to guest post on this blog. I am really picky with guest posts because this is my little space on the web, and I don’t want to put anything on it that I don’t love, or from someone who wants to promote something I don’t believe in.

Nichole Kellerman offered something unique that I loved: a short workout coupled with positive affirmations during the exercises. I was intrigued to see what she was talking about as I always struggle with working the mind as well as the body. As soon as I saw the video, I wanted to do the exercises, so I knew it was something I wanted to share. Of course, I’m still restricted from activity until my foot heals (checkup in 2 weeks) so I’ll leave the workout to you for now. Check out the video below, and download the handy PDF she made so you don’t have to be tied to the computer when you do the workout.

    I’m not a big affirmation person, but I love the idea of associating an affirmation with a particular exercise – the action reinforces the thought, and vice versa. Thanks for sharing!
