Birchbox and a new Tee

I finally succumbed to the lure of Birchbox and got my first one today.

If you’re unfamiliar with Birchbox, it’s basically a service where they send you about 5 samples of beauty products per month so you can try different things. It’s $10 per month, and it’s like opening up a present!

In my April box, I got the following:

Viva La Juicy perfume sample
Show Stoppers double sided skin tape
Color Club nail polish in Age of Aquarius
A box of Befine skin care samples: brown sugar, sweet almond and oats scrub and moisturizer
June Jacobs Perfect Pumpkin Enzyme Polish


Fun! I look forward to trying out the products.

Also in the mail today is my new Healthy is the New Skinny shirt. I had one of their old white ones, and wanted to get the new one which is in a heather gray color and is more of a fashion tee versus a white cotton tee:

    I joined Birchbox about a year ago. I do love it so, but some months are better than others. No real complaints though, because for $10 I get to try stuff I probably wouldn’t otherwise buy/try. I actually joined another beauty subscription, MyGlam, as well. It’s fun to get stuff every month, and I give the products I know I won’t use to my daughter.

    I got my box earlier this week and I like yours better! :) I have the BeFine stuff too, but I didn’t get that adorbs nail polish and I got Taylor Swift’s new perfume instead of Viva La Juicy.

    Awww, I would love to join Birchbox, but alas they don’t ship to Canada. :(
