Loss this week: -0
Total lost: – 101 pounds

I actually feel really good about my food and exercise this past week, so I’m not disappointed with myself. I will continue to work hard this week and hope that the scale makes it up to me next week.

Non Scale Victories (NSVs) this past week:

  • Swimming 1 mile
  • Going on my fastest walk through the neighborhood yet (below)
  • I’m wearing pants and a top I haven’t been able to wear in 3 years. Picture here.

Onward and downward!

I say to hell with the scale. Those are some pretty awesome non-scale victories! Congratulations, girl!

I would to be able to swim a mile! I get so tired after a few strokes! Good job!

You will have a great loss next week. Besides your stamina is outstanding. NSVs are just as important as SV. :)

You look great. I have just started reading your blog (spotted your blog in AlltheWeigh) and I think your attitude is wonderful. I wish you great success. I weigh a little over 300 lbs myself and I am really struggling but I like your attitude about feeling good at whatever “skinny” may mean to the individual person. That’s a great way of looking at it.

Have you considered switching it up – a week of calorie counting and then a week of lower carb? Keep your body guessing and if there is any ‘water weight’ from the extra carbs, that will drop during the week of lower carb. Can you do lower-carb within the calorie limits you’ve given yourself? (Don’t take my advice, I’m going on a week of meat & eggs only. ;)
You are rocking it, lady! Over 100 pounds lost. Just freaking amazing! So inspirational!!

My scale didn’t budge this week either. It will next week! We’re very close in weight (I’m 352 lbs), but you wear it much better than me (you look fabulous). Are you taller? I’m 5’3″.

Love the outfit! You’re doing great and the NSV this week are amazing. Swimming a mile, Hooray! I think I would have to jog if I were going 3.57 mph (as I wrote about here: http://anewertammy.com/2011/01/24/weigh-in-down-6-lbs-2/ ), but I will see as I build my way up to (current pace is about 2.5 mph).

    Here’s to a great week!

I promise its because of the swimming! Swimming uses muscles that dont nornally get used so Im sure that’s why :) You are still a rockstar in my book! <3

    A few things:
1.) You have lost 101 pounds! That is AMAZING!!
2.) That outfit is super cute! I love the look on your face. You look happy and confident, as you should be.
3.) Swimming on mile is awesome! I can’t do that, so I think that is pretty cool as well.
Keep it up. I love reading your blog!
