Is it Thursday Yet?

Wow. This week has been loooooong. I’m still in a funk, but really trying to fight it. I know this slump is temporary, so I’m pushing through it. Today was high intensity cardio at the gym, and whew, it was rough. My whole body is just saying “stop, please!” But I did it. That’s my victory for the day, and it was done by 7am.

I’m getting tons of great quotes being submitted on the form I put up yesterday. I will have these set to publish while I’m on vacation in a little over a week. There are so many, I have at least 2 blog posts worth. Still need to submit yours? What are you waiting for?!

I am out of time for the night, so no long post from me today, but I did want to state my goals for tomorrow. They’re small, and things I normally do anyway, but I want to really focus on the accomplishment in hopes of cheering me up.

1. drink my gallon of water

2. go to the gym and do my weight training program

3. resist the tomato basil soup from Cosi

4. pick up a few more pair of Balega hidden comfort no show socks from John’s Run Walk Shop (if you’re a runner-or walker-these socks are ah-may-ing. worth every freakin’ penny)

    I hear you on the FUNK thing. I’m in such a blah mood today! But you’ve got the right attitude – gotta push through to the other side!

    I’ll have to check out your recommendation on the socks – I have yet to find any that I reeeally like.

    Ms. Emmie I know What you mean! I was feeling bored until last week, Hell Week. I feel a lot better now.

    I’ve found that when I’m exercising I become much pickier about my socks – what type and what shoes they can go in. Glad to know I’m not the only one with a preference for this type of thing!

    As for goal tomorrow: get up on time and walk another 2 miles at least. :)

    Humpday was great! I worked 10-3 today and got to workout and be done by 7pm instead of 8 830. My running has been going very well and I really enjoy it. What are these socks you speak of?

    Yep. Usually Tuesday’s and Friday’s. And after my 12th week of training (next week) the following week (my cruise) is a rest week!
