My aha moment

July 28, 2010

I posted a couple of weeks ago that I recorded my Mutual of Omaha “aha moment.” I got an email last night saying it was online. click to check it out.

This is just 1 of MANY aha moments. There were so many that have gotten me to this point, but there was only so much time to explain :)

Have you had an aha moment? More than 1? What were they?

I have had so many ah-ha moments I can't even count them all! Many of them are recorded on my blog. I've noticed that they seem to come in clumps…then I don't have any for a while :-)

I love what you said “it's just one baby step after another baby step and eventually you'll hit your stride.” Very cool video Emmie and very touching.

Our lives seem so similar. When I listen to this I cried because it is exactly what I am going through. My mother died of Kidney Disease in June 0f 2004. 1 moth after my second child I found out I have the same disease. I was heart broken and at first I was ready to give up right there. I wanted to die I couldn't imagine go through what she went through. She would gain 100 of water a week and then get rushed to the hospital to get it off her body. My mother was 4'11″ and weighed 350 pound and 75% of that was water. My Dr. said there was hope for me I need to live a healther life style and I could live to be even 100 yrs old. This still gave me no hope. But when I walked in the door and my daughter hugged me I knew then I wasn't doing this for me I was doing this for her. Then after losing weight I started to realize I am doing this for me and my family. I have now lost 35 pounds. I wont give up. This does not exist in my vocabulary.

I am so happy for you. You are a real inspiration. Please stop by my blog at http://www.themewithin.com and lets be Google friends and lets support each other. Like you said I can use all the help I can get too!
