Biggest Loser Auditions

You guys remember how I made this bold deceleration that said I wasn’t going to audition for The Biggest Loser anymore after getting so caught up in it last time?

I had a brain fart. I saw that Biggest Loser auditions are coming up in Louisville, an easy 1 hour drive west from Lexington. In the past, I went to Nashville to audition. I got excited. I forgot why I didn’t want to go through the process again. Trainer Rob had 10 reasons for me not to audition again. Check out this video to see them:

    I like the positive self-talk at the end about how you don't NEED The Biggest Loser to lose weight. You're right! You sound so committed and positive and I think those two things are WILDLY important.

    I am so in love with your blog and your way of writing (or vlogging in this case). When Biggest Loser came to our town for season ten, I got phone calls from so many friends insisting that I audition. But I didn't want to. Sure I've thought that being on the show would be amazing. I'd not only lose weight, but I'd win free stuff and meet Jillian and other inspiring places, and such.

    But I didn't want that to be it. I didn't want to say, “This is all I've got.” I wanted to know that I can do it on my own with the support of friends and family. I didn't want my weight loss to be about image. And on TV, it mostly is.

    You have a great attitude about losing weight and being healthy.

    And I support Conan O'Brien. LOL!

    I'm giggling because those were a great 10 reasons except for the pretending to like Subway turkey meat (I really do like it! lol). I used to think I'd lose so much weight if I could just get on The Biggest Loser but I've come to learn that we don't NEED the ranch to achieve our goals.
