B: 1 egg, 1 sausage patty, coffee
L: leftover pot roast, grande red eye with cream from Starbucks
D: Went to my fave local diner, Ramseys, and had their Steak and Eggs. It’s a low-carbers dream, right? Steak plus up to 5 eggs cooked however you want. It also comes with toast and hash browns, but since I can’t eat those, I subbed a side salad with ranch.
Downside about my love of Ramseys is their sugar free black cherry pie, which gets quite a spot in my diet. On days like today where I had virtually zero carbs, I indulge. But I shouldn’t. Just because there’s no sugar doesn’t mean it’s not carb-filled. Bad Emmie.
I also did something else bad today: stepped on the scale before I got in the shower, DESPITE the fact it’s not weigh in day (tomorrow is). DID NOT LIKE WHAT I SAW. Bad.
Despite feeling good about my eating this week (sans the devilish pie), and actually starting to take my vitamins again and drinking lots of water, I now know the scale is not going to be kind to me tomorrow. I’m actually thinking of boycotting the scale for a week, skipping tomorrows weigh in. No harm in that, right??? I think I’ll just do measurements instead.
